I have previously owned a 1977 Southland 20. Which I foolishly sold in about 2005. This boat was an excellent condition. I was a second owner, but had it for about 20 years. Ever since that point, I have always regretted selling it, and wanted another one. I finally decided to look for a winter project, and I certainly found one. I have been looking at the Internet including this forum for quite some time so I knew all the pitfalls. I'm actually looking forward to fixing the stringers, etc. I have a heated garage the boat easily fit in and I plan on working on it all winter or until it gets done. The 77 I had was on a correct craft trailer and that was really cool. I may try to modify the trailer I got with this one to work like a correct craft trailer. I'm still scratching my head on that one. Mechanically 75 is in pretty good shape cosmetically not so much.
