We have decided to sell our restored 1978 Ski Tique. We purchased this boat in 2017 and fully restored it over the winter of 2017/18 including NEW: stringers, floor, carpet, wiring and breakers, upholstery, graphics (hand painted with rustoleum), throttle and steering cables. No part of this boat was untouched. We took it down to the bare bones and put it back together. Gel was fully buffed, graphics repainted, decals and emblems replaced. Engine runs well so it has never been though. We replaced carb to original and rebuilt the "new to us" Holley 4160. New springs in distributor, new plugs. Everything works well except for the hr meter. It came to us with 667 on the meter and they are still there. Since our ownership, I would assume 20-25 hrs per year as this is a coffee cruiser and not a full time boat.
The trailer was replaced with an original which we added new hubs and tires (some wear at this point, but plenty of life left).
The entire rebuild can be read on the following thread: https://www.correctcraftfan.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=40614&title=new-to-me-78-tique
Most folks on this site know us and know this boat. We would love to see this boat go to a home that would appreciate it as much as we do. In case you don''''t know us...why are we selling...this was a project and we have since done another and don''''t need two of the same boats. And hopefully this will make room for another project some day.
