Our family bought this 1979 Correct Craft Southwind about 8 years ago. We refurbished the boat completely. It has been our pride and joy ever since. We keep it at our second home on The Lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri. It has lead a charmed life of remaining on a hydrohoist lift and covered all year around since we finished working on it. It has been a very reliable boat. We have had an awful lot of fun with the boat and only hope that our new boat is as reliable as this one has been. We have purchased a 23 foot Concord, only because as nice as this Correct Craft is, it is too small on Lake of the Ozarks. Thus this boat is for sale. We hope someone buys it who will enjoy it as much as we have.
As you can see from the pictures, this boat is in very nice condition. The trailer has hardly been used, but has weathered from sitting outside. The runners are fine, but the tires will need to be replaced soon. The engine runs great and provides plenty of power for cruising, skiing, wake boarding, or anything else. It has the standard issue Velvet Drive transmission which also operates flawlessly. It has a very nice teak swim platform and teak accents throughout the rest of the boat. The prop and rudder are in perfect condition. This boat is ready to enjoy.
