The first nautique built by Correct Craft was built in 1961,before that the name and the original mold for that hull was made by and belonged to Leo Bentz and his company was Glass Craft boats out of miami. He marketed his tow boat as the Ski Nautique by Glass Craft. He sold the mold to the Meloons sometime before 61 and went back to law school.

Thanks, Yes if it were not for Leo and the Ski Nautique we would probably not be communicating on a web site such as this and Correct Craft would not have the kind of Cult Following of their brand that they have had for decades.He is a very nice man and he was kind enough to pass on to me some very special treasures.

Well guys, the chrome decals were just completed today! We now have both the 1970's and the 1980's ready for your trailers! Please let me know what you think!
