Marty,
Did someone tell you the rubber compound used on the impeller is hygroscopic? I don't think it is. I don't even remove them for storage! Some do. |

UV & ozone are rubber's worst enemies. I just put my impeller in a ziplock bag & a box for the winter. You could add some water to the ziplock bag just in case there is something to that.
