I thought I'd check to see if any of you have attempted to recover your dash pod with fresh vinyl? I have some flaws in the vinyl and rather than have the vinyl repaired, I thought I'd look into stripping off the old vinyl & re-wrapping it in black vinyl - or possibly something interesting like black alcantara?
Has anyone else on here tried this? It appears that the OEM solution involves contact cement and 4-way stretch vinyl. I'd love to hear any input or feedback on this situation. Thanks!
