I recently picked up a 1991 Natique Excel. The windshield section in front of the captains chair was broken and replaced with a piece of plexiglass. I'm looking for that section with the original factory glass.

I did get a replacement glass for that section. However, the top frame is bent and the glass is very tight and can't be bent all the way back. It is in, but it doesnt look very good. I would like to replace the top piece of the frame if I could find one.

I would recommend disassembling the entire windshield. I had a decent bend removed from one of the frames on my '90, so I would imagine you can do the same. I brought it to a machine shop and had them put it in a press- then I sanded the frame smooth where it had taken the hit. I had it powdercoated before reassembling and now it looks better than new.

For the glass, just take some measurements off the frame and bring them to a glass shop. They should be able to cut you a tempered piece.

If you get really lucky and find the NOS or used pieces you need, youre going to pay out the a$$ for them. Just FYI!
