Well, since I cant seem to get my boat motor figured out, I might as well thinking about whats coming in the next few months...winter
I need to replace the floor on the sled trailer. I think most guys have used treated plywood, but I wonder about chemical reaction between it and the aluminum frame of the trailer. Ever hear of Marine tech ply? What have any of you "northerners" used for decking? |

Steve,
I'd just go with the regular treated. I don't feel you'll have any problems with the chemicals and the aluminum. That Marine Tech ply is just a high grade of marine plywood. You'd then have to CPES and epoxy it for protection but the carbides are going to tear it all up anyway. |

I was going to do some more checking on the marine-tech stuff, didnt think it needed any treating. Looks like trailers that have that from the factory carry a lifetime warranty on the deck.
As for tearing it up, I use plastic guides for the ski carbides and an extra plywood "overlay" for the track picks. |
