For several months I have been looking for a used golf cart to tool around the lake on. I am interested in your thoughts seeing I have no real clue. I have been looking for: Gas, four seater, lifted and today was told Club Car frames are aluminum. Craigslist has proven helpful. I even had one bought out from under me

I bought an EZGO last year but I bought an electric. I felt that if I needed to bring it somewhere like a campground they may not allow gas. I also didn't want the ethanol and it sitting issues. I bought a fold down rear seat on Ebay and adapted a Thule snowski rack to the roof. It is great to get the family and the equipment back and forth to the boat. It has plenty of power (can be tweeked easily)charges overnight, and is become very useful toy arond the house. EZGO, Club Car and Yamaha seem to have the best reputations around here. Craigslist usually has some available.

BJ we have an electric EZ go for 4 years now couldn't be happier. We live half way up a big hill,it's amazing how it climbs and how far you go on a charge. We even made a hitch for it to tow around a garden cart,it's better to do yard work with rather than climbing on and off a tractor. It is nice not to have to worry about another engine too,but I'm sure we'll be in for a shock,no pun intended, when it will be time for new batteries.

BJ,
There's no need to delete it, just move it over to the ARRP web site. Considering the average age of our members who responded and have them to get around, moving it would be fitting!!

I know its not related to the golf cart question, but BJ, that picture in your profile is awesome! It almost looks like its been professionally retouched. Great looking boat!
