I was having water issues with my 85 ski nautique changed both packing glands. so far so good on those. saw water dripping from speedo tubes behind tank.I found that the tubes were loose coming through the back of the boat. purchased 5200 and new tube to replace both. Now the ? what are the brass sleeves the tubes go too what are they called and where do i get them/ THE ONE ON THE LEFT IS NG???

Lou
They act like a cushion to steady the speedo needle. I have run with or without them and found minimal difference.
Why is the one no good? If it leaks, solder it up and down the road with it. Good luck.
