I have an 85 Nautique, is there a screen over the pick-up in the fuel tank? Any solution short of pulling the tank?....thanks, mick...ps, when I unscrew the fitting, just the fitting comes off, the pickup stays in the tank....

my 78 does not have a screen, a have an aluminum florida fuel tank manufactured tank in mine....
