Hello,
I own a 1961 Compact Skier and I'm looking for a vintage ski pylon. Thanks for your time. Michael |

Michael,
Unless someone comes up with a pylon which your chances are slim, you're best option is to fabricate one. I did for my Atom. Since you have the cockpit bulkhead deck, your's would be very similar. The top is supported by the deck and then you want the pylon itself to go all the way through the floor and attached to the inner keel. I used a brass clevis at the keel. The ring and finger shank is 1" so the pylon is fabbed with 1" ID tubing. When are we going to see some pictures of your project? |

My 1961 Compact Skier was rebuilt by the previous owner and is 90% unoriginal :-(
"8122pbrainard" I'm not sure you want to see pictures. The upside is that the boat very strong and structurally sound. |
