As I mentioned in a prior thread about water in the bilge and where it might come from...I mentioned that I had put a gasket on boths sides of the metal separation plate in the rwp. I hadn't gotten around to removing it. I've since noticed that the Sherwood pump doesn't use 2 gaskets.
Is it possible that a gasket on that side of the plate would cause an impeller to break apart? |
