In 2011, I got my first real boat cover (canvas)from Carver. In the time since then, I have kept the boat covered outside during the summer. The problem is that my "parking" spot is under an oak tree and a pine tree. If you have any suggestions on cleaning the stains and results of rain puddles around acorns, pine cones, and sticks that are seemly permanent, let me know. Hot water and tide, magic eraser, greased lightning, simple green, and oxy-clean are ineffective. Need help.

Is it a cotton cover or a synthetic fiber? When I spoke to angola canvas, they cautioned against a natural fiber if the boat was stored under trees, maybe that was the reason why?

I do not think it is synthetic.

I'd buy a cheap tarp and throw it over the cover while it's under the trees...

I believe thats a poly cover Jackie- which Im pretty sure is synthetic. Ive never had much luck cleaning them though, hopefully someone else knows! I concur with the tarp notion.
