Recently pulled my OEM original alternator from my 87 Nautique. It is a Motorola with a Motorola regulator. Had it rebuilt and when I got it back to drop back in I realized how important it is to draw out where the wires went back to. I'm not sure if the shop that did the work connected the regulators wire back to the right posts or not, but can't getting any power to anything. I got the wiring diagram from the manual, but I can't make sense of it. If anyone would be so generous to give me some help I would be grateful.

Post a pic of the alt next to the wiring. I can tell you what goes where.

If all you need is a pic of the alternator to see where everything attaches I can snap you a few when I get home from work.

Thanks for your willingness to help. I called a buddy who has the same year Supra and went over to see if it was the same alternator and it was, so I drew it out and got it figured out. It came back from the rebuild with the regulator wiring switched around.

It's my friend's Supra and it's an 1987 TS6M Comp. Very nice yellow and grey configuration. He bought it new and has kept it in excellent condition. Love the front end.... until you turn into a wave going to slow!
