I bought a 1980 ski nautique but it has what looks like a newer seat or the deluxe seat. I want to put an original style seat back in it. anybody have a seat, base, or frame?

Christine's marine (formerly nautique skins) should have the frames. They have the seat tracks as well.
The base on a 80 was a carpeted plywood box. If you want to use the 81-92 style fiberglass pedestal, it's advertised several places- n3, white lake, Christine's... But in not sure anyone actually has any in stock. The cushion bases can be made from ply- I believe thy are 16"x16", I'd opt for 5/8-3/4" thick. Then it's a matter of shaping the foam and covering with vinyl. Christine's has the patterns for those as well. |
