Just picked this boat up at a local dealership up in Washington... Boat only has 75 hours on it... Although on my trip home after I bought the boat the axle snapped on it as it rusted out.. So although the boat is in awesome condition the Trailer is going to need some work... Although I am in the process of putting a new axle and brakes on the boat then I am going to go thru the trailer with a wire brush and repaint the Trailer.. The good news is now I will know the running gear on it is all good....

Then my plan is to put the 11-A rudder and port on it as I hear that will make it an awesome ski boat...

Here is the Picture of it....

I you have the fabricated stainless rudder there is a cast bronze one that is an improvement without requiring a port change. Zach at N3 has them.

Welcome!   great to have another Washington Member! 6 Roblees has been helpful to me in sourcing trailer parts, they are local near Boeing field if you are ever down in Seattle proper, and may have other locations closer to you too.    Kroundy is also probably near by you as he lives in Lake Stevens.   Happy Boating, and keep us posted on your progress.

I went to 6 Roblees for my Axle although they wanted over 250 more for the brakes and hubs..... so I ordered them online and spent the savings on new rims and tires for it..

Hey nick! Great buy!

I bought and rebuilt a SN 176 a few years ago with the help of the guys here. I absolutely LOVE the 176. Plenty of power for me to learn how to barefoot, a great slalom wake, and we take it down the Milwaukee river to the brewerys weekly.

I've had my wrenches on almost every part of this boat at some point, so if you need any help, I can tell you what NOT to do.

Let's see some more photos!!!!

Oh........by the way..........get the good rudder from Zach (N3Boat Works).

Pretty big tracking difference when you get it. While you're back there, redo the rudder packing.

Cheers!

yikes!   I needed a hub same day last time I visited them.   it was reasonable, but sounds like that is not always the case

Cool boat! Congrats on the purchase. Crazy that the trailer failed so soon, but it sounds like you have a good way to fix that.

Where do you plan to ski?

I know it's a long shot but do you still have 176 nautique and do you want to sell it or know of anyone else that wants to sell their's. My local lake rules changed to 18 ' boat length.
Thanks Bert
