anyone Have Stand up PWC?

I have an older PWC in my garage (not mine), i think its a 98 SXI pro 750
I pulled it out of storage from a friends and am attempting to clean it up and get it going for next season.
At this point i have taken the motor out and electronics, etc. it has a newer engine but i could not get it to turn over, i figured the motor is seized but after pulling it out I realized the shaft was frozen in the pump housing, the stuffing box bearing is free and the impeller seems clear of debris.
so my question is; Has anyone taken a drive shaft out of one of these before? I cannot get the pump housing to slide off the shaft and cannot see any type of set screws or c clips holding it back.
there seems to be no way of getting a puller over the housing either.
my only thoughts are to use a slide hammer on the engine side of the shaft but it seems sketchy.

hmm i'm wondering if what you took apart was different than this because the pump housing came right off the craft no issues. four bolts into the hull and it dropped down, BUT the shaft itself will not spin or move in the housing.

ha, did something similar to that trying to get a frozen receiver out of a hitch, didnt end up too good for the truck.
i dont think thats an option here, maybe a slide hammer carefully wrapped around the housing?

Odd there was no silicone as Kawasaki was famous for using a tube of it around the pump to keep the ski from cavatating due to aeration. Non the less, if the pump housing is free from the hull it should pull off of there with a tug. The flat sided end in your pic is the back side of the stub shaft that the impeller screws on to. On the opposite end of the impeller there is simply a female spline with a seal and the drive shaft slides right into it. It must be seized on there. My guess is the bearings are junk as well due to sitting with moisture in them. As I stated earlier there is no way to remove the impeller without taking the jet pump housing off as it stays in the housing when removed. You hold the flat sided stub shaft (housing and all) in a vice, then slide a splined tool w/ hex head into the female end of the impellar to thread it off the stub shaft via a wrench. Then and only then can you inspect the pump housing wear area and replace those nasty looking bearings I see in your pic. I should have the tool at home if you need to borrow it once it is apart. Or, you could just sell it to me and I'll do it myself

Looks like your impeller is making contact with the wear ring/pump housing.
