Hi all,

I need to buy a replacement battery for my 2012 SN 200 tomorrow morning. Unfortunately I dont know about the maximum height I can fit in the battery compartment?

I dont have my boat at home so I cant take the measure myself - can any of you people help me out?

Thanks in advance!

Petter

Can't speak for the 200 but a group 65 is the right size for all in-floor boxes I've encountered 1978-2009.

Do you have the owners manual? The battery type, both size (group number) and minimum CCA should be in there.

You know not to buy a "marine" battery, right?

To clarify, that's a DEEP CYCLE marine.

They make marine versions of starting types as well and is what's needed. The word marine these days simply adds cost to the battery. An automotive battery works fine and is what many of us use.
