REWIREING GAUGES TRERE IS A METAL BOX WITH 1 WIRE GOING IN AND 3 COMIMG OUT I DONOT KNOW WHAT THIS IS FOR.MAYBE A SHUT DOWN RELAY OR A BUZZER ALARM

Post a picture. I doubt a '69 would have a engine fault alarm system unless added by PO.
