Guys:

1994 SN Open Bow. My threaded fuel filler cap has a small cable lanyard that is supposed to be attached inside the neck of the fuel fill receptacle. Well, my fuel filler cap lanyard has never been attached. The cable lanyard is just hanging loose. I can see a little mounting area, but I have no idea how to attach a fastener without dropping something into the fuel tank.

Any suggestions?

Screw gripping screw driver
Even if the worse happens, there's a screen on the tank pick up. You could also remove the fuel filler, attach the lanyard and then re install it!

Sounds different than mine, both of my chains, the old type with the string of little balls, broke many years ago. They are the old style with a bar across the neck a few inches down. (Gas dock kids hate 'em, since you can only get the nozzle in a few inches, they are a real slow fill.....)

No big deal but have been meaning to fix, anyone done that?
