My girlfriend bought a '91 Ski Nautique, and it came with an inboard trailer, but it has 2 sets of runner boards, not the 2 that I had on my '97, nor what I'm seeing on a google search for '91's. The two longer boards are inboard and are longer. But here are two others on the outboard near the stern. They are shorter and end midway of the longer boards.

I haven't taken any pics of this, but I was wondering if anyone knew if this will be a problem. It would seem that the shape and location of the boards were specifically designed to lay along the stringers, or close to them, and that if you have support in strange places, it may cause some stress cracking.

Does anyone know if I should consider telling her to get the proper trailer? I don't even know what this trailer is, but the front v-block doesn't mate up properly, and it's got two odd looking, vertical hard rollers in the front, similar to the pads I had on my '97 DHM/DHL trailer, but they're rollers...which is odd.   I'm not sure what type of boat this is meant for. Of course it has the prop cage in the back so it's an inboard trailer. But...

Thanks,
Kevin

some pictures would definitely help.   Seems like DHM trailers are a west coast thing, where Ramlins are more popular out east.   COuld just be a stat of origin thing.

I didn't realize I could post a pic in this forum.. I will post tomorrow.

I found out that it's a Mastercraft trailer.
