Carb cleaner. The only thing that gets on mine is residue from the belts.

I wipe the top of mine with a Windex rag to get the finger prints off. Other than that the only cleaning it gets is when I suck air through it.

I've cleaned mine a couple of times with the orange degreaser stuff. I soak it in a bucket of the degreaser then spray it off with a hose. Seems to work okay.

I clean mine every now and then. I suppose it depends on where you operate. Mine occasionally gets a buildup of fuzzy material on it, which I think is from cottonwood trees. I just soak it in gas in a coffee can.

I find that Brad's method works very well and is good for my stress level.

Hi everybody. It's me WackyWillie.
My first post, Yippee! I clean flame arrestor with gasoline, then I set on fire to burn off deposits on stump. Worky good, lasts long time. Starts extra good first time. Shine with WD-40. |

I'm so glad we finally have a Wacky. Now if we can just get a Bubba.
One question Wacky, why do you have deposits on your stump? You're supposed to wear protection. |
