Dan,
No, it's not recommended due to the ACQ interfering with resin bonding plus, the moisture content. A CPES (clear penetrating epoxy sealer) treatment will seal non treated wood preventing future rot. The wood of choice is Douglas Fir but there are alternates like composites What's the boat? Pictures would be great. |

Somehow Tige managed to use treated lumber for their stringers for years. I think sanger still does (judging from production pics).
If dried out, any reason they can’t be a suitable core material? |

Ive used dry pressure treated myself quite a few times on old camp boats with no issues... I had some that I had saved from a neighbors deck tear down that was a couple years seasoned that I was holding onto for stringer work but I ended up using it for storage shelves in the shop... have to keep my eyes out for the next time someone is looking to upgrade.

Yeah old deck joists seem like a good thing if you can find some with no added moisture, but CPES treated Doug fir will outlast you if you do it right.
