Hello,

I'd like to replace the rub rail on my 1998 Sport Nautique. It's in very poor shape. Does anyone have any suggestions on after market replacements? The rub rail on Nautiqueparts.com is very expensive.

Thanks for your time!

Amazon.
Hobby Boats can be expensive when the hobbyist is limited on their own skill and expertise.

Integrity marine are the suppliers and they will sell you a replacement directly.

The 87's (maybe earlier) and up have a larger rub rail than the previous SN's and it is not available any longer. You'll have to polish up the one you have, or find some other non original style rail.

Bought new for our 99 SN from Integrity Marine last year. Gentleman was very helpful and delivered material in 2-3 days. Was 1/2 the price of Nautiqueparts. He also stated that Inegrity was the OEM supplier to Correct Craft for a number of years.

Well I got ahold of Integrity Marine today, spoke to a gentleman about my 89 and he knew exactly what I needed. He was out of stock because they (Integrity) had sold all of it to Correct Craft.I did place an order and it will be a few weeks till they ship. But I'm happy I didn't pay what others wanted to charge for the rub rail. Holy Crap ,what a markup.

I ordered my rub rail from Mark at Integrity Marine this morning. Only downside is that he doesn't include the stainless steel screws. He said #8 or #10 pan head work for most of them. I watched a Taco install video on Youtube that used the #10 screws in the Taco kit and they had to pry the rubrail open enough to get them in. Seemed like a lot of extra work considering there is about 100 screws in a rubrail. I'd think a #8 would fit more easily but want to make sure the head is still big enough to hold well.

What size screws did you guys order to use with the Integrity Marine rail? You think #8 is okay?
