Any recommendations for trailers in the West/Southwest? I wish I had noticed this in the fall.

Looks fixable to me. I was recently looking into trailers too as mine is really low to the ground, it's starting to rust through the paint, and having issues with the title. I wish I could go all aluminum but they are quite spendy.

Sean, what year is your boat? This will help us keep an eye open for a used one for you. Looks too far gone for JB Weld.
I would check Ski it again.com and see if any are available over there. Ram Blin is out of the trailer business, but I heard that Boat Mate ( Tennessee) might of bought their trailer stuff. That could be wrong.

It's a '92 on a CC trailer. It's a rusted out POS at this point. Even being in AZ didn't help. I'm going to try and brace it with some steel plate and see if will hold for the summer while I look for a new one.   I have read all the trailer posts and it sounds like Boat Mate and Phoenix are good options but don't know about getting one to AZ.

After looking for a decent trailer for the last year or so and having no luck I decided to have the wishbone replaced on mine. The fabricator says maximum of $1500 to replace both main tubes and build a tongue to hold the bow stop. I will post some pictures when it's done.

Tried getting quotes for a new trailer but didn't have much luck except for Extreme out of Southern California for around $6K for a very basic single axle.

In the mean time I was able to buy a used 2014 Centurion Carbon Pro trailer that was used in salt water in San Diego for $600. It has lot's of rust but is structurally pretty good. I was surprised how well my boat fit. If it wasn't such a rust bucket it would have been my long term solution but I think it only has a few more years left in it.

I spent less than Extreme quoted you on a nice (with several options) tandem from Boatmate.

Just FYI

I think the main problem is being in Arizona and the cost of shipping. I contacted Boatmate and they said I had to go through the dealer for AZ which is Action in Phoenix. They are the ones who are trying to sell me the Extreme and said a Boatmate would be more but would never actually give me a quote. I also contacted the dealer in Dallas and he said I had to go through the AZ dealer. I don't think they ship enough trailers to AZ to make it affordable. I would expect TX is a much larger market and closer to the manufacturer so you can get a decent price. I am pretty happy with fixing my old trailer. My boat is stored near the lake we go to and it is a really crappy dirt road to get there. Basically I tow up and down a dirt road about 12 miles each way. I didn't really want to spend $5k on a trailer that is just going to get beat up anyway.

I just ordered a new trailer from Phoenix. For the price of a level 1 Boat Mate (and magnum), I got ALOT more for my money with Phoenix. Dual axle disc brakes, swing away tongue, led interior and exterior, fulton F2 winch and lift, custom laser cut logos, etc. Without all these add on's you could beat the price on a Boat Mate all day long.

Give Don d*cks a call. Phoenix doesn't have a dealer in Texas and Don worked it out for me. I just PM'd you his phone number. Tell him Dominic referred you.
