Here are photos. Boat is located in Wisconsin. Unsure of the motor in it - can uncover for serious inquiries otherwise will not be uncovered until Spring. Based on records, appears to be a 1968. |

Pete In her ad "someplace else:", it says she's in Three Lakes Wisconsin You should jump right on this one, no travel involved, maybe it's got a set of original points in it and it's old and weathered looking, sorta like you Maybe we need a CCF collection to buy Pete a Ski Antique I checked with this guy, he says it's at Watercraft Sales, I think you know the place |

Katie,
Thanks for the pictures. I was in town and thought I drive down into your rig shop to see if I could spot the Mustang.I couldn't but with all the snow I have a feeling it's under a big pile. It's probably best to wait till around April to get it uncovered for some interior pictures. Then you may get some better responses. |

Pete, you didn't find the boat when you drove around because it was already inside getting warmed up. You should've called. :)
Below are photos. Our best bet is still that it's a 1968. The motor is a Chrysler 318. The prop and the rudder have the tiniest nicks in them, which are shown in the photos. Both would be easily repairable. PM me for inquiries on a specific part. Buyer pays shipping. List of available parts. Message me with questions about additional parts. 1. blower and bilge dash hardware 2. engine carb 3. correct craft emblem port 4. correct craft emblem stbd 5. dash panel (without gauges - will also sell whole w/ gauges) 6. driver's seat 7. engine manifolds 8. forward vent - port and stbd 9. front nav light 10. fuel fill 11. fuel window 12. fuel tank 13. gauges - engine temp, tach, oil pressure, voltage, fuel 14. gunnel step pads 15. intake strainer 16. motor box 17. mustang decal 18. nav light button 19. observer's seat 20. exhausts - port and stbd 21. prop 22. rear seat - back and bottom 23. rear vents - port and stbd 24. rope cleats 25. rope guard 26. rudder 27. rudder port 28. rudder arm 29. shaft 30. ski pylon 31. speedo pickup 32. steering wheel - not original 33. stern light w/ flag 34. shaft strut 35. throttle 36. transmission 37. transom lifting ring 38. stern light hardware 39. windshield - dual pane assembly. |

Evening everyone. Private messages sent to everyone who have expressed interest in parts.
PM me with offers or inquiries on parts - quite a few serious inquiries coming in on FB as well so doesn’t look like the parts will stick around for long. Have a good night. |

Katie,
Thanks. I don't see any mention about the engine. Locked up? Cracked block? Is it the 273? |

Motor is a Chrysler 318. 1968. Unknown issues at this time. The starter engages but motor didn’t turn over today when we turned the key. Due to costs and return on investment, we are not planning on delving much farther into the motor. All parts are being sold as is.

Katie, you’ve got a return PM. Definitely want the mustang logo, front flagpole, and complete windshield if it’s possible to ship.

Katie, Many of the Mustangs did come through with the 318's but also many had the 273's. Per your grandfather in law, the thought was that Ralph always felt the 318's were just a little too much engine for the small hull. If you haven't already looked and if still it's there, the ID tag will confirm the displacement and rotation. Both engines will look the same. |

Or just look on the side of the block since they cast the displacement right in on the LA/LM (273/318/340 and presumably the 360 as well).

Correct, TRBenj. None of the tags are visible any more so we looked on the casting to get the 318 and 1968 data.
Have a great day. |

What's the condition of the chrome trim rings around the step pads? I'm looking for 4 that are in good condition, possibly needing new chrome.

Good morning,
The step pads in their entirety have been sold. Are there other trim pieces you may want off this boat? |

Matt, Call Jim with the dimensions. The frames are generic. |

By generic I assume you mean “off the shelf” as opposed to Cc-specific, which I believe is true. That said, none of the frames in the link you posted match the original style.

Not that simple as the inside dimensions may match the rubber pad but will not match the style, which is curved.
Despite being “generic”, the frames are rarely found listed for sale (used). No new ones currently on the market match. More than the LxWxD dimensions would be needed to recreate them. |
