I’ve looked on Nautique parts and can’t find these. It’s the plastic cover that covers the lift hooks on the transom of my 96 sport. I’m guessing they act a splash guards to prevent water from splashing up through the teak swim platform? Is it worth replacing? If so is there a place I can get them?
One is fine and intact, the other one is missing. |

I think they are part of the system to make the exhaust gas move out behind your swim deck. I have them on mine, I will keep them but it would be nice at times to have access to the lift hooks from the bottom to strap the rear to my trailer. I use the swim platform support but the tie downs would be stronger.
There were several people affected by exhaust carbon monoxide making its way into the rear passenger compartment, usually while wake surfing or wake boarding. I personally know a couple that had to life flight their son to save his life. |

NautiqueParts has the Transom Cups, item # 9793, $23.78 on their site. I’m not sure if you mean they are out of stock.

By the way there is a site called “Active Water Sports” or “AWS” at Activewake.com. I no nothing about the site but they also list Transom Cups for $24.95. Would recommend installing them. They were factory installed and designed to protect you and your crew from carbon monoxide poisoning.
