My sister and I had our boats out this past weekend and we put them to the test. Mine 1978 Ski Tique w/ 302. Hers 1991 Ski Nautique w/ 351. I had a better hole shot but she was faster in the long run. Pretty close. I bet just a prop change away from being equal. Top end speed was 44 MPH.

You need to slip a 351W into that Ski Tique and go race again. I think 50+ is very common in that short light boat. If the 91 won the race this photo sure does not show it. Fun Stuff!

Or a supercharger! Nah! I like it how it is. That pic was taken right after we started and up on plane. She also had another 200-300 lbs in her boat. Her daughter and some dogs were in there. Anyway it was good to see how the girl performed (my boat- not my sister) and I’m quite proud of her! |
