I have a Skylon at home , Would like to help my son with is water start with one ski and help other beginners.
The ratchet is seized and the nylon rope is no longer elastic, Is Skylon out business

I believe there should be no perceivable stretch in any extended pylon component

You should be able to fix the ratchet with one from a regular ratchet strap tie down that you can get at home depot or tractor supply. Just buy one and start robbing parts off it. You might need some additional stainless hardware to tie it all together.
