Does anyone know of any product that will remove the water stains from the water line? I've tried various products without much luck IE: 3M Compound, Fantastic, 409.
Thanks in advance. Charlie |

Be carefull with muratic acid . If it gets on your trailer in a scratch or on open metal it will rust the next day unless you wash it good when you are done for the day . I usually cover my exposed trailer parts with plastic .

I've always been partial to On and Off, made for this purpose, available at most better boating stores. Be sure to wear your gloves and when you are on your back under the boat, try to avoid having it drip down your arms.
Charlie, missed your posts in the spring. Welcome to the site. I grew up in New Hartford and spent all my summers on Kayuta Lake, not too far from you. Never made it to Piseco though. |

Charlie, Have you tried one of the marine hull stain cleaners like Star-Brite Hull cleaner? We have tannin waters where I boat and it stains the hull a yellow/orange real quick. The hull cleaner removes the stain with out any scrubbing.
