I'm envious I guess, because I can't seem to get rid of a boat. So I believe IT IS time now for you to get a CC. How bout a nice Tique project at a REALLY good CCFan-only price?

EDIT: Or maybe swap a vintage SN stringer replacement job for a Tique? (Old stringer's and foam already removed, by the way)

Eric, although I agree with some of your thoughts and deeds you are not a CC guy. There are things that are just not acceptable bahavior......
There are different strokes and there are strokes for all of them, money buys a lot of things.....
But money will not buy that '64 that sits in the Toy Shed.I have bought and sold a lot of boats in 25 yrs. This one is part of the family now, and if broke down in to dollars per hour for labor alone I will always be "UPSIDE DOWN"
The same goes for my collection of guns, if I sell one I will spend the money and no longer have the gun,DUHHHH....

Boat Doc, at one time i would go down to the CC dealer and stare for hours at these boats and told myself im going to own one and eventually i did and i picked it up early "April" it sat in my garage and i would sit in the drivers seat as do alot of guys on this site for hours and imagine what its going to be like, my first time out was on good friday and after that every chance i got, i put 140 hours on her first year and many more the following years, i was the very first person on my lake to make a 7ft pole and run a tether and people thought i was crazy, i was out there at 6am for the smoothest water, I remember my first POA very well and as with my first boat it will stick with me, i skiid the hell out of it, sometimes i stray down the wrong path but that doesnt mean i still dont believe.

OK, you've taken the bait. I've got a completely complete 305 MerCruiser from another Tique just sitting on a pallet. Carb to pan to BW-71.

Boat doc, what about selling those guns that year after year the only time you look at them is when you take them out to clean them, to get money to restore the Correct Craft?
