Two options: 1. Rip up the carpet and floor and look for wet foam. Remove, re-glass, re-carpet 2. Throw a 50 lb weight on the far left under the spotter seat and stop worrying about it. Mine has almost the same lean and I've owned it for 9 years. I shred buoys and glass behind it and I haven't really let it bother me. |

The materials are not difficult or expensive to purchase, and it is a very easy job to do --- it just takes time. It is relatively cheap to do yourself and expensive to pay somebody else to do it. Would be a lot easier if you were to pull the engine to do the job.
Or - just leave it as-is. You have no wood in there to rot, so the water is not hurting anything (if that is what it is). I doubt that makes much difference when the boat it under way. And by the way - nice looking boat! Welcome to team blue/grey. ![]() |

2" total on each side I.e 2 low and 2 high.
I'm starting to think it's wet foam. Not sure how much money that will cost |

Tyler, the 2" was the amount under the straight edge, correct? If so that means one gunwale 1" high, the other 1" low. And was the 2" the total over the whole beam of the boat?
I'll check mine today just for the fun of it. Different hull, but I'm curiuos if it sits level. |

I took pictures yesterday, with an empty tank of gas, removed all items from the boat, and ensured the no water was present in the boat. I checked the airbox - Nothing abnormal found, just speaker, 2X hoses for the heater. Gas Tank Removed the center floorboard and checked all around the Gas tank and i could not see anything abnormal or any additional material I also measured with level as someone suggested in a previous post Facts The Boat List to Starboard by a solid 2" inches The weight seems to be most noticeable in the middle to stern of the boat. Takes 200 pounds on the far port side to level this boat out Nothing i can see in the airbox or around the gas tank that would add this much weight. you can see the waterline is at the Ski Nautique decal ( This isn't the water level) |

And we still wait for photos...
As the owner of a composite stringer boat - the idea that 1/2 of the boat is waterlogged is 100% doable. I had a huge crack in my floor under the observers seat and that area was filled with wet foam. All the holes drilled in the structure are potential areas for water ingestion: bolts that hold on the engine frame, screws that mount side rails, brackets for seating, the trim ring around the pylon.... There are holes everywhere. The only way to actually check for wet foam in these boats is to cut a hole in the floor. |

I'm saying that a previous owner may have installed or placed something heavy behind one of those panels. Take a look behind them and find out. Take pictures to show us.
I'm familiar with scoot dogg's boat, it's sitting on my lift right now. ![]() |

I would give the boat a thorough search. Take panels off, seats out etc.. It's not unusual for someone to stash lead somewhere for the purpose of shaping the wake.

RECAP
Potential causes 1. Closed cell foam is damaged and has absorbed water ( 80% believe this the culprit) 2. Engine Mis-Alignment ( 15%) 3.. Extra material on the boat or in compartments (4 %) 4. The boat was seized off the coast of Key west and $20MM in illegal product are between me and 4 inches of fiberglass. (1%) |

Gas tank area, behind the panel- have you looked behind there? Not in the gas tank. Air box is at the drivers feet. Panels are mounted with screws up front. Common to mount accessories (amps, heaters) behind them. What's up there on your boat?

I think someone is being very optimistic about their 12"er, lol
Think about it, on an 8' wide boat that would have you leaning at almost 10degrees dropping one side 6". Heck, one edge of the platform would be at least 3" under water. Betting the list is slight but noticeable, we will see. |

Good point. While filling 400lb sacs on my '92 it hardly lists at all when only one side is full and that's with me standing on the same side. Our '89 lists more but still not anywhere close to 12 inches. Maybe 4 inches at the most with a full sac. |

Detailed pictures should show a lot. I'd be curious if anything was hiding in the gas tank or air box area behind the panels.

Maybe there's an extra 200 lbs of repair fiberglass on the starboard side, clean up from said joy ride. |

Oh yeah I read it wrong. Boat started off as a British boat.
All seriousness I go along with DRCC. In fact that scenario described I've seen in person. |

Maybe a serious skier owned the boat with a serious over weight driver so he put 200lbs of dumbbell in the passenger floor to balance the weight. But most people I've seen are lazy and just the leave the discs on top of floor.
