Eric sounds liek you might have an 85 BFN to work on next, but tullfooter just has some gouges no stringers. Sounds like a piece of cake for you.

Any new pics of your latest works.

BK the tubes go on the inside of the floor uprights, the exhaust lays on the foam section right next to the mains, pretyy roomy in there i have to say

So Eric who do you ask for help when your stuck on something? Looks like the changes to venting should help the air flow.

I think this is probably a better design. I don't think there is enough room on the outside in the Ski Nautiques. However, witht he deep V of the Barefoot, there is room for the vent come down the outside of the main stringer. Just a guess. BKH

So that an Eric mod and not factory right? Makes sence and should be an improvement for airflow in the motorbox.

blower and venilation for engine compartment, there is one on each side, you have one that connects to the blower and the other to vent it. you'll see the 3 vent tubes up front, those pull fresh air in through the vents on the front of the boat into the engine compartment and the back ones exhaust the hot air

hasbeen my pain comes when Eric says he is finished with his pain. Either way you get it done there is going to be pain involved. Eric looks like you are making great progress. Did Randy get his seat back yet? If so how does it look?

David, Good on ya! The weather next week-end is supposed to be Chamber of Commerce. We have a slight chance of rain Monday. Where are you coming in from. It amazes me in no small way the number of you guys coming to visit and even those that have lived here in the past. I know 79 Nautique comes to Saint Petersburg alot and Scott8370 used to live in Indian Rocks Beach.

Eric, speaking of protection against gla$$ a couple of other things that are helpful are:
(1) Cover your skin with baby powder before beginning.
(2) I take Wal-Mart White tube socks and slice open the toes with a razor, then slide it up my arms from wrist to bicep. Then I just wear an old tee shirt because it is usually hot here.
(3)Then I just deal with it because I have found there is no escape from the pain. Unless You are like 87BFN and contract it out. He is the smart one in the bunch.
