I use Amazon Golden. I usually put about 4 or 5 coats on each year and it hold up really well througout a season. I clean it thoroughly, and let dry. I then apply a coat and wait 24 hours between coats. BKH

I don't know anything about teak oil but I have used Watco brand of wood oils before and was very happy with it.I did not even know they were still around, the bottle I have is about 30 yrs old,a little went a long way.

I know there are numerous threads on this topic and I've read most of them...

Just curious if anyone has a strong preference on teak oil. My swim platform is in pretty good shape - cleaned and sanded before last season, just dried out. I'm a little disappointed in the Star Brite teak oil that I used. How about Amazon Golden or Watco? Perhaps oil is oil and I just need to do this more than once per season. Anyone have better luck with a different product?
