Hey Jbear, Theoretically, if you were driving your HD next to your 80, which sounds better? Chuck |

How could a guy be on here since '04 and have only 20 posts.
Man...that guy musta been right...I must have no life. I can get 20 posts in less than a week. I gotta spend more time listening to my noisy boat. john |

cisom, Welcome to the site. You will find plenty of knowledge here. It's too bad you didn't come here before you did the hubs on your trailer. For a 3500lb axel, I'm looking at $35.00 per hub on etrailer.com. A seal/bearing kit for the same is $15.00. You still need to get your hands dirty and greasy so I'd go for saving the $40.00! Tell us about your boat and as always, pictures are great. |

It's a lot easier and considerably neater to just buy a complete hub assembly with the bearings already packed and ready to go. It ends up being almost the same money.

I recall seeing a post last year. Step by step with pictures - removing, repacking bearings. Tried a couple searches and can't find it. Ring a bell? Anyone reading this create that post? Thanks
