Yea, throttle clevis pin sounds good!
Well Saturday morning I went to two different boat shops with in 10 miles and they were both closed. Guess they wanted to play over the 4th too. Thanks for the "is a common part" advice. With that advice, I went and looked in the local boat junk yard and found the same part on a 1976 Glastron! Its actually a field on our property where I have my dads old Glastron he cant let go of and my mom's old sail boat that she gave me a few years ago. I doubt, I never would have gone and looked in the Glastron with out the advice. Thanks for all the help and advice guys. Now if you guys can't tell me where to get a new free interior, I guess this thread is closed. Britt |

I always carry one of those plus an impeller in my ski bag. I've had more ski-dates kiboshed due to those two items breaking on people's boats then bad weather, it seems.

I think those are fairly common in the boating world. I found mine at the local marina's parts counter a few years ago and bought a couple extra. I think they were $7 each.
Where are you? |

So my throttle went out on me tonight on the way back from fireworks on the damn.
I had idle, foward and reverse. Thought that the throttle cable had snapped. Opened the cowling and manualy advanced the throttle to get back home in a reasonable time. So after seeing that the cable was ok on the carb side, I looked under the gunnel and found that the brass attachment point to the throttle had worn through and finaly broken. Anyone know how common a part this is and if I have any chance of getting one this weekend. If not does anyone know of a fix to get me through the weekend? See attached pics for the part. 1993 Ski Nautique Thanks Britt |
