Did anyone check out the link above? Maybe if I had titled it "Howard Stern on the election in Harlem"...or if I had said "these people should never be allowed to vote again"?

It's pretty good!

Not an advertisement but an oxymoron none the less. One of my favorite sayings when I was in college and it's a Foot original:

" She is butt ugly but she's got a great a$$!"
"Morfoot; He can ski. He can wakeboard. He can cook chicken. He can create his own self-named beverage, & can also apparently fly. A man of many talents."72 Mustang "Kermit",88 SN Miss Scarlett, 99 SN "Sherman"

That's just plain scary, but I agree that they are playing on our emotions. Warm fuzzys are good, but they love fear.

Sometimes I wonder what advertisers are thinking; and in turn, what do they think of their taget audience. Here's a few jabs back at them...and my appologies to any member here who's in advertising!

From a blue bell ice cream ad:
1-"Tastes just like the good 'ol days"
Just how did those days taste?
Whose good 'ol days were they?
Did it matter that some crappy days were mixed in?
2-"hand cranked taste"
Is this extra crunchies from the gear mechanism, or is it much scarier than that?

An oldie but goodie:
"we'll pay off your car no matter how much you owe"
They're definately after they financially responsible buyer, and they also sell bridges.

From a sam adams ad:
"at the peak of freshness"
Maybe the engineers here can help me with this one?

From a gold buying ad:
"scrap gold"
This is not only a classic oxymoron, but it's a growing problem!
