Chris,
If all your yard equipment is high quality then run a high quality oil. If it's "Walmart" equipment then run the cheap oil as it's "throw away" at the end of it's usefull life anyway!

The merc quicksilver has the pictures on the jugs. Will the oil provide the lubricity for these high temp aircooled small engines. Our machines are high quality and want the best for them. The outboard oil was a thought because it is only 8 cents per ounce.

74 TCW 3 =
Two Cycle Water Cooled Type 3
Don't think the premium oils have a picture on them, Merc Quicksilver or Yamaha Yamalube. These are the only oils I use or recommend to my clients,.08 should only be used for bar oil in my Husky chain saw.
Quality equipment should only be fed quality oil. If you own a cheap weed eater or brand X yard tools by all means use cheapo oil, they will not live long enough to care.
Oil and blood are two places I would not comparison shop befor the purchase.............Boat dr

All 2 stroke outboards require TCW-3 2 cycle oil. On the jug it says for use in air cooled engines also. It shows pictures of lawn mowers and a chainsaw. All of our yard equipment is 2 stroke. The TCW-3 oil works out to be $0.08 per oz, and the 2 stroke oil is about .60 per oz. Can I use the TCW-3 oil to mix and use in our engines?
