I was told that it is a standard right hand thread if anyone needs to know.

I have a 1975 Nautique with the reverse rotation 351 Windsor. I managed to shear the teeth off of the cam gear while installing a new distributor. I am now in the process of tearing the motor down. My question is this:
Is the crankshaft bolt left or right hand thread? I didn't see an "L" on the head of the bolt, but I want to make sure before I break something. Thanks for any replies |
