thanks eric for a quick reply. ill have it tweaked next week. that pull is about to make me crazy. now i know a little more so i can get it taken care of by the marina that fixed it.

there are adjustments under the floor board and at the rudder, you may have to tweek it to your preference on the water

i just had a new steering gearbox and steering cable installed by a nautique dealer/service center. the steering is smooth and feels great, but it has a pull to the left when i center the steering wheel. i have to steer it to the right to bring it back true. i notice the pull mostly when going 28 or less.
is there an adjustment that needs to be made, or should i steer true mark the wheel. then i could take steering wheel off and reinstall it in the place i marked as true. this is my third nautiqe and ive never had a steering issue. i just hate to have to put my boat on the trailer again and wait for them to get to it. so if its an adjustment i can do i try. thanks in advance! maX jr |
