Not sure why you have no pickup's at the stern and typically the paddle wheel is part of Perfect Pass? Double check to see if you have pickups, if so the pickup lines then go to the Faria Gateway box which is in the trunk behind a plastic cover, there you would want to verify they are still connected.
Regarding the paddle wheel, did you check it while on the trailer? If yes, that would lead me to believe the paddle wheel is not hitting your trailer bunk.

I think my trailer is the Eagle. I can check this weekend to make sure. I checked the paddle wheel this past weekend. I was to manually spin it and I didn't see any missing vanes. I believe the trim level is team and I don't have perfect pass. Any other thoughts.

There is no such thing as a factory trailer, so I am guessing you have a Ram-Lin? In 05' Eagle had a problem with their bunk design, why I mentioned that.
What trim level is the Boat, Team, Limited or Signature? Signature has Analog the others have digital. If you have Perfect Pass it should display speed.
Regardless, have you inspected your paddle wheel, verify it is intact, not missing any vanes and operating properly?

I believe it is a faria guage. I don't have a digital speed display and no pickups at the back of the boat. I have the factory trailer so no issues with hitting the intake while trailering. I'm really at a loss.

I am a little confused, do you have the faria gauges? Perfect Pass? If so you should have (1) speedo plus the PP display which shows digital speed.

My boat has (2) pickups at the stern and (1) paddle wheel which is in the hull slightly behind and off center from the drain plug.

Regarding your paddle wheel, is it by any chance hitting your trailer bunks while on the trailer? What brand trailer?

Last year I purchased a 2005 206 after having owned a 1982 2001 for 20 years. After trailering the boat the speedometer did not work. The speedo on the 206 is different than the 2001. There are no intakes at the back of the boat. The intake is under the hull with a fly wheel like a wave runner. After a couple of weeks in the water it started to work again. It was almost like it was vapor locked. Well this year it is happening again. I am curious if there is anything that I can do to unlock it or if there is something I need to do before I trailer it to prevent the problem. Any help/guidance is appreciated.
