Scott,
Do you still need a pump? I just sold my boat after putting in a new Sherwood pump. I kept the old one plus a new seal kit. My boat was a 74 Nautique. Let me know. Sorry it's been so long.

To Gearhead66,
I am waiting to receive a seal kit for my pump. If it works I will keep the pump. I also have a replacement pump lined up with Depco Pump. I will be discussing this pump with georgec@depcopump.com this week. If all goes well I will order a Sherwood G55-2. I will have to drill new holes in my belt pulley. The specs match up but I won't know for sure until I do a dry fit with the new pump. I hope it works. My boat has been down for a month now. You may want to contact n3boatworks.com and talk to Bruce. He was previously with Mid-West Correct Craft. He may be able to help you. I will keep you posted.
Thanks,
Dan King

To: 8122pbrainard,
Sorry, I thanked the wrong person prviously. I have been talking to Depco Pump. They seem to have a Sherwood G55-2 that will work. Thank you for your input. It's so nice that people take the time to help someone in need.
Thanks again,
Dan King

Pete,
Thanks so much for taking the time to post the information. Bruce at Correct Craft in Indiana is sending me a seal kit. Hopefully it will be the right one. If not I will take your advice. Thanks again!

Dan,
Are you sure you want the complete pump? If so, try: Depco Pump

If it's just leaking then it may only need the seal (bearings don't leak!!) You can go to Depco for the seal or a industrial/power transmision supply. Better check to see if it needs bearings too. They would have both the bearings and the seal. If the pump is one of the more unusual ones, rebuilding may be your only choice. Take the bearing and seal #'s with you to the supply house. They will need the numbers because they will not have the cross reference to the actual pump.

Oh, It is a sherwood pump.

For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.

Hi Dan, I have this off a 1988 351 pcm, I also have an engine mount to go with it. It has about 460 hours but needs a new impellor. It is for sale if you think it would work.
