two sided coin. the ac voltage will be converted to dc no matter which way it spins, but i do know someone that had a bad experience putting a gm alt on a vw motor that spun the wrong direction. it could have been just his bad karma. he is a lawyer.
you need to use the marine housing to keep the flame potential in check. the screens stifle the flame. i have never seen a seperate part number for forward or reverse motors, so i would assume that direction does not matter. |
