well down under here to the left or right from you..I'm in the same..no freezing at all..I use the boat at least once a month and had never ever drainned the engine..but wish I did sometimes as the corrosion and junk build up inside the engine water jackets and exhaust system was very noticeable..more in the waters we ride here that are mud coloured....this mud eventually get caught inside the engine and start building up inside....
with the new engine i guess i will drain it if I not intent to use it for long periods... |

Hi guys (and girls)
We are in the middle of a very wet winter here in New Zealand, so kitesurfing and dirt bikes are the weekend recreational events at the moment. It doesn't get below 5deg/celcius here so no freezing overnight temperatures, but my question to you is- should i still drain ALL the water from the system, and manifolds or is it ok to leave it in through winter is it is? I have had water in system for about 3 months now, should i be worried? |
