I guess in this ecomony, if I can dye it and get by for a couple of years, that is the route I might take. Really don't want to replace interior skins now.

I dyed some boat seats years ago. The dye made the vinyl very stiff, never liked the result & had them reupholstered eventually.

I was in a friends Tige last weekend, he had some panels in the interior patched and then it is dyed to hide the patch. After 2 years it is very easy to find the patched panels.

You must degrease it really good. SEM is the best brand of vinyl spray.

In the car business it is common to dye the interior of a used car. My 92 SN interior isn't torn and worn out, it is just discolored. Looks like deeply inbedded mildew. I haven't been able to get it out. I got to thinking about dying the interior. Any opinions on this?
