Where are you located?
I have a 302 Mercruiser about a late 70's edition. It is pulled down, crank and block are together. rods and pistons went to the scrap heads are real old school. The motor came out of a 65 Nautique that Art at South East had, it was not the original motor. Motor block is in good core condition It would make a good stroker set up. |

Crankshaft is the same RH or LH
If you have the RH cam, all you need is a RH distributor, starter and crank seals. AT |

I own a 1967 Correct Craft Mustang. It had originally a 160 or 165 hp 289 ci 6 bolt bell housing engine. It lacked an intake and 2bbl carburetor. The 289 block is junk but I have the rest of the parts. I also have a 1974 302 with GT-40 heads built up but its standard rotation. I have a brand new Reverse rotation cam and lifters for a 302. I also have 2 types of Interceptor exhaust manifolds. Several flywheels as well.
What I want to arrive at is some kind of engine that's a Ford, runs backwards, heads designed for low end torque (I think), and is reliable and powerful. I am in the market for maybe a 289 block, a RH 302 crank, or E7E heads. Can you help? Advise is certainly welcome too! Thanks, Ryan (419)260-0597 |
