This morning I was on my way to work and I saw one sitting outside an upholstery shop so I pulled over and pulled a tape on it. In case anyone is interested: The bunks are 12' long. They end 18" forward of the transom. They are 48" apart in the back and 24" apart in the front. I didn't quite finish measuring everything I wanted before the owner of the shop showed up and I made conversation with him. Thanks to whomever owns the boat - very cool boat w/ nice new vinyl and carpet!

My trailer is not an original, but I am rebuilding it and trying to make it work. Can someone give me measurements of the bunks on an original Correct Craft trailer made for a late 70's Nautique (17'9")? To get mine set-up right I will need:
1) Bunk length 2) Width between bunks measured in at least 4 places (front, rear, and at least 2 in-between) 3) distance from transom to aft end of bunks when trailer is loaded. If anyone can help me I would be very appreciative. |
