crew and gear are usually around 750, then 700 more in liquid ballast.

Does anyone have any comparisons of these two props other than the difference in pitch. Acme suggested the 10.5 pitch for me, but they also suggested that for my friends Supra Sun sport. Now his boat is bigger and heavier than mine and it seems weird that Acme would suggest the same prop for two boats that are way different in size, shape, and weight. Has anyone ran the 912 this year? I hear great reviews of the 542 and am wondering if the 912 would give me to many R's. Or If it's more than needed for our model of boats (2001). Unfortunately his is a LH so I couldn't borrow it for a testy. LH model is 913 or something???
