Oops, hadn't been on CCFan the past two days...
So Roger, happy belated birthday!!
- Gun control means: using BOTH hands!
- Money doesn't make one happy, but when it rains cats and dogs, it's still better to cry in a Porsche than on a bicycle...

Well birthday wishes from around the world how cool is that, thanks guys like the tips on life in your 50s, and yes had to turn off the smoke alarm to light the cake.
Will take in on the chin and as you say won’t let it stop me doing new stuff , my daughter said just think of it as I’m two 25 year olds.
Thanks again and happy holidays.

Its just a number Roger, don't worry about it. Its been some time since JBear saw 50 and he just learned this last year.

I'm a few years past 50 myself and I'm not letting it slow me down too much either.

Yup, its great to be in your 50s, just hang around with the younger ccfan'ers and you'll stay young yourself.

Happy Birthday

Happy 50th Roger. Being English you will understand that 50 is a significant number. The crowd at the cricket always applaud the batsmen when he reaches 50 runs. Now you will have to go on and get that big century.
If you're going through hell, keep going

Thanks Sebastian it could be worse and have my B-day in 2 days time,we all know what happens to carpenters born on that day, and yes hoping some here can tell me its great to be in your fifty's and all the benefits that come, as a newbie can't see any.
Yesterday my 2 daughters took me into London for a meal and a show and that makes you feel real old, had a great time.
Happy Christmas to you and your family and all on the site.
Its real cool B-day wishes from Argentina.
